Modern coastal dream

Situated on the beautiful Rangitahi Peninsula, the Garretts' holiday home is a stunning display of a modern batch. Built by Hay Construction, this masterpiece utilises space well and blends coastal elements into the aesthetic. Red Architecture provided the design, showcasing a playful use of colour setting off the kitchen with the Resene Warrior cabinet fronts contrasting against the more subtle timber tones.

The bespoke joinery, featuring American White Oak veneer and oak battens, creates a warm and inviting environment as you step through the joinery from the entranceway into the main living space. 

Standout features of the house include the hidden pantry with a pop of Melteca Porcelain Blush, along with Crafted Concrete solid vanity tops which set off all the bathroom spaces in the house.

King & Co also created bespoke joinery pieces for the Lounge media unit, master robe, laundry, and kitchenette.
