Traditional and modern

The thoughtful design of St Peter’s College Kitchen and Lounge by Designwell showcases a seamless integration of traditional and modern aesthetics. The use of curves, rounded timber battens, and a soft neutral palette works together to create a sophisticated and warm space, ideal for both casual and formal gatherings.

The vision from the school was for this senior common room hub to mimic workplaces and cafes the students will be using in the real world to have interviews, conversations and meetings in their future. 

We thrived on the challenges to deliver the kitchen, and help the dream become a reality as students are encouraged to meet with their peers in a setting that helps to bridge the gap into the adult world.

The use of real Oak, steel, and the durability of the Melamine brings together the practical, industrial and high-end finish the designers were looking for, and that should stand the test of time.
